We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Insights & Systems Analyst to join our talented People team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

First Central is growing at a massive rate, so there’s never been a better time to join us in this brand-new role.

You’ll build and manage people insights reporting using our new Workday HR system, completing statistical analysis to identify actionable insights and building predictive models.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide expertise on the complete cycle of people analytics, from sourcing to managing attrition
  • ‘Tell the story’ – create observations and formulate hypotheses based on data
  • Partner with the Finance, People and Technology teams to build the required Workday system functionality and reporting to collect, analyse and present data
  • Work with the LMS Specialist to oversee the installation of all system updates and upgrades ensuring the smooth integration with Workday and our Learning Management System
  • Take responsibility for reporting across all our people platforms, monitoring and analysing email open rates, intranet usage, event attendance, survey responses, etc
  • Provide monthly MI reports and other information as appropriate, to People, Finance, and other relevant departments, to ensure that management have access to all appropriate people data
  • Support the timely presentation of information and business intelligence to a range of audiences to inform decision making, streamline processes and support the organisation’s understanding, monitoring and performance against key metrics
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis for the People leadership team as required
  • Work alongside stakeholders during key projects to provide reports and data, including gender pay gap reporting and the annual pay review process
  • Conduct external benchmarking to identify trends and areas of focus and produce relevant recommendations  
Skills, knowledge & experience
 
  • Degree in a business-orientated field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of Workday is highly desirable
  • Proven experience designing and delivering effective MI and HR systems and statistical analysis
  • Experience of applicable analysis and or reporting experience
  • Previous experience of pulling together complex data into easy-to-read reports and the ability to translate these to non-technical people
  • Understanding of Business Objects
  • Previous experience in a Financial Services environment is desirable
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, numerical and statistical analysis skills
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Strong technical skills to produce and manipulate a range of forecasting and numerical analysis tools including spreadsheets, pivot tables and databases
  • Strong attention to detail
