We’re on the hunt for a talented Digital Analytics Lead to join our Commercial & Marketing team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

You’ll be responsible for the digital analytics strategy; managing the analytics of the customer website journey, as well as data from search, advertising, PPC, email, mobile and social channels. 

You’ll apply your experience, knowledge and online analytical approach to the business. Through the Digital Strategy Roadmap, the Analytics Lead will be responsible for driving the right conversations in journey and experience design using data driven decisions. You’ll also be key to bringing to life the experiences which our customers and prospects have online.

 
Job responsibilities
 
  • Design and deliver and the end-to-end reporting framework and deliver best in class ROI/CPA based reporting frameworks
  • Audit our current online analytics reporting and assess its suitability in delivering robust insights
  • Work with Commercial, Marketing and Product teams to establish and build common KPIs and reporting mechanisms, which empower the functions and enable autonomy
  • Deliver data driven insights and optimisation recommendations to Commercial teams
  • Develop a KPI matrix to each part of the sales funnel: Drive, Engage, Convert, Renew
  • Manage our third party analytics partners and agencies
  • Lead site-wide analytics initiatives to serve the most pressing needs of the broader business, often requiring cross-functional engagement, creativity and an aptitude for translating complex analysis into actionable insights
  • Periodically review the implementations of our web analytics toolsets for potential enhancement opportunities
  • Be the go-to expert in all areas of online analytics and shift the culture from reporting to providing actionable insights that drive business performance

Skills, knowledge & experience
 
  • Previous experience of working as a Digital Analyst is essential
  • Proven track record working in e-commerce, ideally within the insurance sector
  • Extensive, advanced experience of tagging and tracking (using Adobe Tag Management, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics)
  • Experienced in looking at CRO and drop-off rates
  • Experienced in running A/B and MVT testing (ideally with Optimizely)
  • Must be skilled in JavaScript and tagging implementations
  • Experience of working with PowerBi or Tableau
  • Delivery of high quality and valuable business insights (not just reporting)
  • Detail-oriented self-starter, capable of staying on track and pursuing solutions without supervision
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Highly organised, with ability to prioritise workload under pressure, meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • HTML5 and CSS3 skills are a plus
  • Outstanding team working and collaboration skills
