We have a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Communications Executive to join our talented team in Salford Quays, Manchester.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
  • Have first class copy writing, proof-reading and editing skills with a solid attention to detail
  • Have experience in planning internal and company-wide events
  • Be a creative thinker and problem solver
 
Job responsibilities
 
  • Provide proactive support to the Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner to deliver a comprehensive communications strategy and plan
  • Support the implementation of the overall communication plan including building effective relationships with internal teams to help drive engagement, educate and inspire colleagues
  • Write, edit and proof copy across all channels, including email, intranet and our weekly newsletter, ensuring it’s appropriate for the channel and in line with our brand and tone of voice
  • Plan and manage internal events, including both company-wide and regional events that support the overall employee experience, communication plans and product launches
  • Create and maintain processes that reflect the culture, protect the company in terms of insurance, health and safety, PR and report back on all ROI
  • Review and report on the effectiveness of internal communication tools
  • Assist with compiling and designing presentations
  • Manage relationships with local community partners
  • Develop a calendar of local volunteering opportunities and monitor attendance
 
Skills, knowledge & experience
 
  • Proven knowledge and experience in an internal communications role
  • Demonstrated understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Preferably educated to degree level and/or qualifications in English, business or communications
  • Excellent creative written and spoken skills and feel confident writing for a variety of audiences
  • First-class drafting, proof-reading and editing skills with a solid attention to detail
  • Organised and proactive - able to juggle and prioritise a busy workload
  • Excellent project management skills with strong analytical skills
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Outgoing driven individual with great enthusiasm, can-do attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
  • A strong relationship builder who can manage partnerships at all levels
