We need an IT Contract and Supplier Manager to join our Technology Services team in Salford Quays, Manchester, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, or Guernsey. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be highly collaborative, driven and self-motivated with a proven track record of working with a variety of suppliers, along with a firm understanding of contract formulations, terms and SLAs preferably in a regulatory environment. This role will be pivotal in building relationships with key suppliers and support teams, to work to reduce or eliminate poor service, reduce or remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the business. Job responsibilities Maintain the IT contracts, supplier management procurement and contract database by directing and performing all related activities to keep supplier information, contracts and associated documentation current and secure Monitor and report on IT Operations adherence to procurement and supplier management policy Preparation and reporting of procurement activity and contract status Identify database and subsequent process improvement opportunities Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations/TCF at all times Support the wider IT Operations strategy which aligned to the wider IT strategy containing objectives, departmental initiatives and KPIs Robustly manage budget and reforecasting to support the wider Technology deliveries Manage the relationship of key technology partners, holding them to account to achieve the highest levels of service Lead the prioritisation, planning and execution by partnering and collaborating with the teams and resources across the business Positively communicate with team members, colleagues and stakeholders Skills, knowledge & experience Excellent knowledge and understanding of IT suppliers and contractual management Deep experience/understanding for CD/CI process Strong spend analytical background, preferably in a procurement/contract environment Understanding of contract formation and terms, along with SLAs Strong reporting background Processes, tools and techniques used to deliver highly available, performance and scalable platforms and systems to distributed customer and user communities Insurance products, insurance distribution channels, claims handling, technology, data sources and databases, and the wider motor insurance industry Relevant legislation including GDPR Good understanding of regulatory requirements specific to the company and the functions under control What can we do for you?
